Applying through ASV

How do Apply buttons work?

An Apply button opens the platform’s own site in a new tab, and you apply there. Wherever we have a referral link for the platform, the button uses it: if you are accepted, the platform may pay ASV a bonus, at no cost to you and never out of your pay. Your application, your account and your earnings stay entirely between you and the platform. How ASV makes money.

Do I need an ASV account to apply?

No. Browsing ASV and applying to platforms never require an account. You only sign in to ASV if you want to work on ASV Projects.

Who can help with my account or pay on a platform?

Only the platform itself. ASV is independent: we cannot see your account there, change a decision, or chase a payment. Use the help center or support contact on the platform’s own website.

I applied and heard nothing. What now?

Silence is common, and it does not always mean no. Many platforms take on applicants in waves as projects open, and some never send rejections at all. Check your spam folder and the platform’s dashboard, finish any assessment or onboarding step still waiting there, and make sure your profile is complete.

Meanwhile, apply elsewhere. With two or three applications out, one quiet platform never leaves you idle. Browse every platform.

A platform rejected me. Can I try again?

Sometimes, on the platform’s terms. Some let you reapply or retake an assessment after a waiting period; others do not. Check its help center for the rule, use the time to prepare with our guides, and apply to other platforms that fit your background.

Never open a second account, or use someone else’s identity, to get around a rejection. It breaks almost every platform’s terms, and it is the quickest way to lose access for good, along with any unpaid earnings. ASV cannot appeal a decision for you.

The information on a profile looks out of date.

It may be: platforms change pay, requirements and country availability often. Every profile shows when its facts were last checked, and if the platform’s own site says something different, trust the platform. We correct profiles as we find changes. How we research profiles.

How do I avoid scams?

One rule covers most of them: legitimate AI training platforms never charge you to apply, to train or to start work. Anyone who asks you to pay first is running a scam.

  • Apply only on the platform’s own website, or through an Apply button here.
  • Never buy, rent or share an account. It breaks platform terms, and a shared account can be closed without warning, along with any earnings not yet paid out.
  • Be wary of anyone who messages you first (on WhatsApp, Telegram or anywhere else) promising guaranteed work, assessment answers or a way around verification.
  • Never share your password, verification codes, identity documents or bank details with anyone but the platform itself.

ASV Projects

For signed-in contributors working on ASV’s own paid tasks.

Someone already claimed the task I want. Can I still work on it?

Usually yes. Claiming does not remove a task from the queue; several contributors may work the same task at once. A task only closes to new claims when it reaches its maximum, the claim window closes, the deadline passes, or an admin stops it.

Does claiming first mean I win?

No. Claim order and submission order each give a modest ranking benefit, but technical quality carries the highest weight, and an admin makes the final decision after reviewing every submission.

Do I need to fork a repository?

No. The admin prepares and uploads the starting repository package. You download it, work locally inside the provided structure, and upload your completed archive.

Can other contributors see my work?

No. Others can see that you claimed the task and how long you have been working, but never your uploaded files, your proposal, your notes, or your feedback.

What happens if I release a claim?

Your timer stops, the slot reopens for someone else, and your elapsed time and drafts are kept. You may reclaim later if a slot is free and the task is still open. Repeated abandonment can affect your reliability score.

My timer looks wrong after I changed devices.

Timers are computed from the claim timestamp against server time, not your device clock, so they stay consistent across devices and survive refreshes. If it still looks wrong, reload the page to resync.
